Reupholstered Chair

Just back from the upholsterer is this interesting chair my mother in-law had given me years ago.  It has a whole new look.  I have never quite seen a similar one.  It has a new home in my upstair hallway.  I thought this fabric would echo the shape of the cutouts on the front of the chair.

My father has a saying, "Nothing irks a woman more than an idle man."  So, I have grand ambitions for our Saturday.  After reading "5 Feng Shui Tips For Positive Energy In Your Home" on one of my favorite blogs  http://simplifiedbee.blogspot.com/2011/01/5-feng-shui-tips-for-increasing.html on this snowy morning with my feet up, drinking coffee, as my son and husband watch cartoons - I was inspired!  I have a MAJOR energy drain and it's called The Garage.  Every day, we enter and leave our house through the garage (which I think is also bad Feng Shui - but it's shorter than going through the front door).  We weave our way through our cluttered 2 car garage (which can fit zero cars) and it drives me bananas.  So today, in the freezing cold, we are going to make a dent in our energy drain.  A dent would be great.  I know it won't be clean, but maybe just a dent... Wish us luck.  Maybe tomorrow it will be our desk.  OK, let's not get too ambitious.  Maybe I have had too much coffee.
