This is such a happy eating nook. The color splash is great. I like the idea of a glass top since my kids too a sharpie to my painted table last week and I have to consider repainting it. Ugh.

X Islands

Oh this is my dream kitchen - pale grays and carrera-like countertops. I can't get enough of X based islands. I would much rather have one dining table and a huge island for breakfast. I do think these tops have too much of a linear stripe for my taste though.
