Throw Blankets

Jonathan Adler really knows how to feed a girl's obsession with customizing and monogramming. On his website, you can easily design your own monogrammed throw to match your color scheme. Don't even get me started on designing the rugs. I could play all day on his website. Here's my design - but a little to steep for my budget at $250.

Fig Trees

My husband groans every time I drag in a new houseplant destined for a slow painful death. "Why do I do this to these poor innocent plants?" he asks.  He believes that I single handedly put a stop to Home Depot's one year guarantee on indoor plants because they were losing money on me. (ha ha)

Regardless, every few months I have a renewed optimism that this time it will be different. This time I will be able to keep my new purchase alive and healthy. My next victim... a Fig Tree. I just love the huge leaves - it's the modern version of the ficus.
