Lighting for a Retro Masculine Master Bathroom


We think we have selected the vanity for the Retro Masculine bathroom. Now we are trying to narrow down lighting. I always love Restoration Hardware's lighting and price point. They have also started to sell nice looking recessed medicine cabinets. I LOVE my Robern medicine cabinet (a Kohler company), so I will have to see how Restoration's cabinets compare in person. Here are our lighting options.

Here's how the Nolan Single Sconce would look three across. I think this is perfect for a husband and wife who do not want to share a sink or medicine cabinet. Ocean Boulevard

It's spring break and we are heading to our beach house in Dewey Beach, DE for a long weekend. My trips to the beach are never complete for me without stopping at one of my favorite stores - Ocean Boulevard. Here are some inspiring images from their shop. They carry Mitchell Gold, Company C, Four Hands, Stray Dog along with some other lesser known lines of accessories.



What a great way to add character to a bland space.

Love the shark, it's a stone of some sort I think.


These would look so great in my living room to match my new persimmon pillows.

These dried flower arrangements were so interesting.

Retro Masculine Master Bathroom

When beginning any renovation, I find the hardest decision is always selecting the first piece that sets the tone for the whole room. In a bathroom, it is usually the vanity or tile. In this bath design, I am striving for a clean masculine feel with plenty of storage. Here are some vanity options we are considering. Once we lock in the vanity, I can search for the coordinating items.

Latest Etsy Obsession - Devon Baer Designs

If you have not been on Etsy yet, you are missing out. I just love the notion of a website enabling home-grown businesses to sell their wares at a low cost - keeping creative people in business in this tough economy.

Here is one of my favorite Etsy sellers, Devon Baer. I am lusting after these pants! The price of $218 is slightly high for me, but I can still swoon over them. Move over Tory Burch!
